* annual permits are valid for the calendar year, and purchase is possible in the period from December 1. of the previous year to March 1. of the current year
* annual permits for fishing with long line, traps, spear and artificial lighting can be issued only to anglers who already hold an annual permit for sport or recreational fishing in sea waters.
* Exceptionally, without a permit, recreational fishing can be performed by persons under the age of 14 with a single line hook with or without the use of a rod.
Allowed equipment
An angler who holds a valid license for recreational fishing at sea is allowed to fish with the following types and quantities of fishing tools and equipment:
- two fishing rods and reels
- trolling (two fishing lines)
- towing rope, up to two (2) pieces in total;
- for chefalopods (two lines with artificial bite for each line)
- large sea worm trap, up to two pieces.
SPECIAL PERMITS – LIMITATIONS
- special permit for longline, (one or more of them) with a total of up to 100 hooks
- special permit for spear fishing, one (1) piece in total
- special license for trap fishing, up to three (3) pieces in total
- special permit for the use of artificial lighting, one light with a maximum power of 40 W for an incandescent bulb, 30 W for a halogen bulb and 10 W for LED bulb per vessel, exclusively when fishing with spears or lines with a hook for hunting cephalopods.
