Application
What is the Croatian boat skipper license exam like?
Exams for all categories are held on Saturdays at 8 a.m. in the Harbor Master’s building, where is located one of our offices so we will be immediately available to assist you through the entire exam process.
The exam is oral and you will receive your boat driver’s license the same day after passing the exam. You can collect your nautical license at our office in the Harbor Master’s building on hour after passing the exam.
On Friday, the day before the exams we organize theory lessons. The lessons last about three hours and you can choose between 4 languages: Croatian, German, English and Italian.
Meeting place is at our central office at address Aldo Negri 1, Poreč.
You can pick up the study manual and the most common exam questions at our branch offices, or if you are unable to pick them up in person, after your application, we will send them to you by e-mail or post. At the course, you will receive the other equipment, and our expert teachers will prepare you for successfully mastering the material required to pass the exam and obtain the Croatian boat driver’s license.
To register for the exam you can use the registration form on our website or you can apply by e-mail or by phone call. The day of the lessons bring with you your ID card or passport and two photos 3.5x3cm.
You can make the payment in person in one of our offices or through our bank account. We accept payments in cash and credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, Maestro. After the registration our employees will contact you for all the details.
Registration is not binding and it is possible to cancel the exam or switch to one of the next available dates until Thursday in the week selected for the exam.
